Yeah I'm not kidding, this is the real deal the first chapter of Mark of Athena is here.
It's not on Rick Riordan's website but it is on the official Heroes of Olympus website.
and so without further ado the link: disney.go.com/disneybooks/hero…
and also because I found my last journal to also be important and amusing I've cut and pasted everything that's in there to here:
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I just looked on Rick Riordan's website rickriordan.com/home.aspx and saw this rickriordan.com/my-books/percy… .
My first thought was pretty much AWESOMENESS!!!!
and then I saw when it was coming out.
Really, Rick? October 2nd? ARE YOU TRYING TO BE A TROLL TO YOUR FANS?
well, at least I have some info and now know what the cover looks like rickriordan.com/Files/Images/J… .
I think the picture shows Percy and Jason on pegasi with swords but I'm not sure if their with or against each other.
And then I see literal owl eyes. Hmmm, I wounder what that means? (I'm being sarcastic, by the way)
Also I saw at the bottom of the description that it's narrated by four demigods. I'm guessing that the first three are Annabeth, Percy and Jason but who's the fourth? Reyna? Nico? Leo? Piper? Hazel? Frank?
Honestly I think that either Reyna or Nico seem to make the most sense but hey, I'm not entirely sure on what's going to happen in this book. I know there's going to be a Percabeth reunion (If there isn't I will go after Rick Riordan wit a torch and a pitchfork in my imagination because violence is never the answer unless it's in your imagination), I also know there's going to be something that has to do with the Mark of Athena but the question is "What is the Mark of Athena?" seriously what?
well anyway here's the description of the book copied and pasted from the website as usual although I'm sad there's no "read the first chapter!" button right now (maybe Rick Riordan will post one later).

Annabeth is terrified. Just when she's about to be reunited with Percy—after six months of being apart, thanks to Hera—it looks like Camp Jupiter is preparing for war. As Annabeth and her friends Jason, Piper, and Leo fly in on the Argo II, she can't blame the Roman demigods for thinking the ship is a Greek weapon. With its steaming bronze dragon masthead, Leo's fantastical creation doesn't appear friendly. Annabeth hopes that the sight of their praetor Jason on deck will reassure the Romans that the visitors from Camp Half-Blood are coming in peace.
And that's only one of her worries. In her pocket Annabeth carries a gift from her mother that came with an unnerving demand: Follow the Mark of Athena. Avenge me. Annabeth already feels weighed down by the prophecy that will send seven demigods on a quest to find—and close— the Doors of Death. What more does Athena want from her?
Annabeth's biggest fear, though, is that Percy might have changed. What if he's now attached to Roman ways? Does he still need his old friends? As the daughter of the goddess of war and wisdom, Annabeth knows she was born to be a leader, but never again does she want to be without Seaweed Brain by her side.
Narrated by four different demigods, The Mark of Athena is an unforgettable journey across land and sea to Rome, where important discoveries, surprising sacrifices, and unspeakable horrors await. Climb aboard the Argo II, if you dare. . . .

now back to my commentary:
and about that thing at the end that says "if you dare" I say "yeah, I dare!!!" and "do you think I wouldn't dare?"
well, that's all I've got to say for now so see ya

Sea of Monsters Movie Comments and More
Okay I am seriously sorry for not writing a journal for nearly a year and not submitting anything for far too long.
Due to that this journal is ridiculously long and full of me ranting (with reasoning) on the Sea of Monsters movie.
Enjoy :D
-----------------------------------------------------
But continuing on there are several things that at this point, two days after the release of the movie Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters (movie) that must be stated or asked.
(Also the opinions expressed in this article are not meant to offend anyone. And if you were totally like "OMG this is the greatest movie ever and totally d
The Red Pyramid Graphic Novel
hey, it's been a while since I've updeted like... anything on my page so I have decided to journal *fancy hand flourish*
Far off in a magical land, also known as me and the area that surrounds me I was randomly searching on the web.
I had gone through my entire massive pile of mail from the people and groups I watch and was, to put it lightly, bored as heck. So I randomly looked through my list of favorites and for some reason decided to go looking at some of the Kane Chronicles related stuff and when I finished going through some of that, decided to see if I had missed anything Kane Chronicles related that might be in any way. So following
Mark of Athena has killed me
Yeah, I think the title of this journal entry gives an idea.
Last week after about 7 hours of reading I completed the Mark of Athena, and all I can say is
RICK HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
of all the cliffhangers he's forced upon us this one is by far the worst.
I mean okay yeah, he sent Percy over to the Roman camp and wiped his memory and then he cuts it before the Percabeth reunion that we had been waiting for for TWO WHOLE YEARS but now he has seriously crossed the line. I mean seriously crossed the line at least for the last two books we could get a general idea of what happens next but with this we are totally in the da
Predictions for Mark of Athena
The much awaited upcoming book the Mark of Athena comes out on October second which is only 6 days from now. Woot, woot!!!
And so the time has come for me to state my theories, wishes, and what I'm dreading but have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that it will happen.
What I know will happen (and must if Rick Riodan doesn't want to be swarmed by angry fans:
Firstly, the Percabeth reunion. If this doesn't happen I will go rabid, I mean seriously, we've been waiting TWO YEARS for this moment and if we don't get it there will be an uprising, demigod style. We all wished for it in the Son of Neptune and could barely take
