Predictions for Mark of Athena

The much awaited upcoming book the Mark of Athena comes out on October second which is only 6 days from now. Woot, woot!!!

And so the time has come for me to state my theories, wishes, and what I'm dreading but have this feeling in the pit of my stomach that it will happen.

What I know will happen (and must if Rick Riodan doesn't want to be swarmed by angry fans:

         Firstly, the Percabeth reunion. If this doesn't happen I will go rabid, I mean seriously, we've been waiting TWO YEARS for this moment and if we don't get it there will be an uprising, demigod style. We all wished for it in the Son of Neptune and could barely take it when Rick finished off the book with a cliffhanger just before the Argo II lands. I know he thinks people won't buy his books if they don't have something to wait for but that's completely wrong, an example being me reading the Kane Chronicles. I read and bought all three of those books just because since they were Rick Riordan books I knew there would be at least one really cool character (Felix), some really funny moments, and at least one reference to the Percy Jackson and Heroes of OLympus series.

         Second, the Argo II will set off and the 7 will begin their journey to Greece and Rome. If this doesn't happen then I don't know what will happen to the entire plotline.  They have to go Greece to stop the Giants from destroying the roots of the gods, they have to go to Rome to close the Doors of Death and save Nico, and they have to sail on the Argo II to get to all those places.

         The seven will be Percy, Annabeth, Jason, Piper, Leo, Hazel, and Frank. I know this because I read the Demigod Diaries.

         Annabeth will have to avenge something that will probably involve or lead to Arachne attacking her. I know this from the character countdown on the Heroes of Olympus website.

         Octavian will be really pissed. Do I have to explain this?

Things that were hinted and my assumptions to them.

         Jason and Percy don't get along that well. Two very powerful demigods one Greek one Roman, one a child of Poseidon on a child of Jupiter, one took the other's praetorship, one very humorous the other not so much. Does anyone else see this as a recipe for either best friends of mortal enemies draw together only by hate of Gaia?

         Some drama between the two ladies of Jason Grace, yeah I'm speaking of that whole Piper vs Reyna drama that seems to be very popular in fanfiction. Personally I think that Reyna will be really annoyed that Jason and Piper are dating, but will handle it at lease 50% professionaly, I can't say the same for the other 50%.

        Reyna may have a problem or two with Annabeth due to that whole Circe's Island thing but that I think she'll handle fully professionaly.

       Some drama will probably happen with the whole Sammy=Leo thing, some possible tension there.

Things I dread:

       I have this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach about the decision that Annabeth will have to make. I have a feeling that it's something to do with Percy.

       I think that at least one person will die on this mission which I think is going to be sad but I'll be fine as long as Rick doesn't kill off Percy, Annabeth, or Leo. Kill any of the rest and I'll be fine but if he messes with the three people I just mentioned bad things will happen. The person who I think will most likely die is Frank with his whole fire of life thing. After him I think is Hazel to be reclaimed by the Underworld. And after that I think is Annabeth or Percy because of that whole each other or the world thing and Percy's fatal flaw.

I'll journal again right after I've finished reading and re-reading the Mark of Athena. I pre-ordered from amazon so it might get to me a couple days after October 2nd.
